Meh. Prob won't make it again. Sauce wasn't thin like some people mentioned but it was too sweet for me. Needs more layers of flavor. Very one note.
Recipe was great! Ended up making it a second time but didn’t have any soy sauce so I added a tablespoon of brown sugar and a little extra vinegar and used as a marinade for about an hour. Put it all in the oven at 400 for 30 mins. Very good both ways!!
DELICIOUS! Swapped rice wine vinegar for apple cider vinegar, still fantastic! Added some crushed red pepper flakes for some heat. Definitely a must!!!
Instant pot 4 chicken thighs bone in: High Pressure. Sealed. Added whole garlic.. salt, pepper and garlic powder to sauce. Added oyster sauce... 14 mins quick release, sauté mode to thicken the sauce...
I did bone in, skin on thighs and they were delicious! We substituted rice wine vinegar for apple cider vinegar and added siracha and sesame seed oil to the sauce and they were hands down the best pieces of chicken I have ever had! Will definitely do this again
This was a very good recipe. I ended up cooking the sauce for quite a bit longer for a good consistency, but otherwise the process is very easy. I think it needed a little pop, so I might add chili flakes or sriracha next time.
This was disgusting. All you could taste was the honey, even after I tried to add things to make it edible. Also the sauce never even thickened, the recipe needs to add cornstarch.
A had a better consistency with the sauce when I swapped the water for chicken broth.
Also turned off the chicken when the sauce was a bit runny and let as it cooled it thickened more.
Was delicious but had to add corn starch and water to thicken and had to take out the chicken because the sauce was thickening but other wise very good.
I tried this, husband is really picky and said it was and I quote "good af". It's definately a keeper, will most likely make it again.
